Defense Logistics Agency Awards Support Services Contract

April, 2009 - U.S. Information Technologies selected for five-year contract to provide IT architectural support and services at the DLA Defense Supply Center, Richmond.

U.S. Information Technologies Corporation (USIT) was recently awarded the Defense Logistics Agency's Architecture Support Services contract at the Defense Supply Center, Richmond (DSCR). USIT's mission for the project is to provide system design and programming support for multiple applications across the DSCR, including application maintenance, modification, and integration, software architecture and system integration, and DSCR employee technology training. "This is a strategic win for USIT" says Joe Morrone, USIT's President and CEO. "Our success at DSCR over the past several years is why we were awarded this contract, and it validates one of our main corporate beliefs ? once our customers experience the value we bring, we will become their technology provider of choice and trusted advisor."

Under the contract, USIT will support and maintain DSCR's existing applications and environments to ensure peak performance. In addition, USIT will continually evaluate leading-edge platform and database technologies for the DSCR. USIT is also positioned to provide technical insight on infrastructure issues integrating design and development across various applications and services, and knowledge transfer and mentoring to government employees and contractors.
