In September 2014, Military Sealift Command (MSC) added scope to USIT’s existing support contract. The contract now includes the ship board AFLOAT system, Department Head Afloat Management System (DHAMS), which was previously maintained by UNISYS Corporation. According to the MSC COTR, “Contrary to other contractors we have dealt with over the years, when USIT says they will deliver, we believe them.” USIT’s outstanding quality and delivery of work for MSC over the past four years on the ASHORE side HRMS systems led directly to USIT’s consideration for this additional work.
