USIT Awarded SeaPort-e Prime Contract under the Navy's $48 billion IDIQ

Chantilly, VA - January 1, 2012 - U.S. Information Technologies Corporation (USIT), a leading provider of Oracle technology solutions, announced its award of a 7 year SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) prime contract. This Multiple Award Contract (MAC) is used by the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corp (USMC) to address ongoing engineering, technology, and program management requirements.

Over the past year, USIT has partnered with the Military Sealift Command, the Navy Exchange Command, NAVAIR and the Navy Installation Command assisting in a wide variety of Oracle technology projects.

USIT's portfolio of services for SeaPort-e includes Enterprise Management, ERP Applications, Database Services, Fusion Middleware, Business Intelligence, and Prepackaged Solutions. With deep expertise in Oracle technology, USIT provides customers with industry best practices coupled with in-depth technology expertise to assist the Navy community in making the most out of their Oracle Enterprise license.

SeaPort-e is designed to streamline and simplify the acquisition of critical professional services by contract participants. This award sets the stage for USIT to continue its steady growth as a prime government contractor by allowing the organization to bid on future work supporting the Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC and NAVSUP) as well as the Office of Naval Research, USMC, the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), and select others. SeaPort-e is administered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division.
