On August 1, the U.S. Government Printing Office’s Library Services and Content Management (LSCM) division awarded USIT a contract to provide support services for its Depository Selection Information Management System (DSIMS). The LSCM Division, as the agency’s only appropriated funded organization, is responsible for disseminating information products for all three branches of the Federal Government to over 1,200 libraries nationwide. Oracle Applications, including Oracle iStore, Order Management, Inventory, Customer Online and InstallBase, release 11.5.10 to support LSCM’s customer ordering, inventory management and distribution process. Technical infrastructure for the Oracle Applications resides within Oracle’s Cloud Services solution, Oracle On-Demand. GPO was the initial federal agency to migrate to Oracle On-Demand in 2003.
