Your database server is a strategic investment for your organization; it is critical that your database be installed and configured correctly. USIT will install and configure your database server; you can rest assured that it will be done correctly. USIT will install the application server and verify that all required options are running correctly.
Tasks:
- Perform Engagement kick-off meeting (evaluate what the customers perceptions are and set expectations)
- Verify that the clients hardware configuration is an Oracle supported configuration
- Develop installation plan
- Check for patches and plan patching if necessary
- Install and configure database
- Setup initial users and roles (setup admin users/super users and schema owners)
- Install test instance and test usability of database configuration
- ½ day hand-off/turn-over meeting

Assumptions:
- The proposed hardware platform is set-up and is an Oracle supported configuration
- All necessary client personnel will be available to provide input and support
- Client has a valid Oracle CSI number
