USIT Awarded FedMall Sustainment Contract

Chantilly, Va., July 20, 2018 - U.S. Information Technologies (USIT) Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise information technology solutions, has been awarded a competitive contract from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for FEDMALL Sustainment. Under this contract, USIT will operate, maintain, sustain and enhance FedMall.

FedMall, a replacement for DOD eMALL, functions as an online focal point for DOD customers seeking to acquire off-the-shelf, finished goods from the commercial marketplace. FedMall streamlines and modernizes the acquisition system by allowing Federal, State and Local Governments as well as other authorized buyers to rapidly purchase goods and services at the best prices. The site provides around the clock access to millions of individual items, using a modernized eCommerce site, but with the additional benefit of being compliant with federal regulations. FedMall is similar in function to GSA Advantage and GSA eBuy.

Our team was excited to receive the award notification and the team is getting underway with transition activities. This is another win for USIT on its JETS ID/IQ contract which, to date, total awards are over $25M dollars. The FEDMALL award is particularly meaningful because this Task Order was issued in the Unrestricted Pool. USIT looks forward to providing support to DLA under this contract, leveraging our methodologies, our proven best practices, and extensive experience working with DLA stakeholders.
